Today we are going to present you a touch screen laptop model that was launched a while ago, but in our opinion still does the job today at a very competitive price. So if you are on the market for a cheap touch screen laptop, we believe that you should take this model in to consideration.
On the outside there is nothing special about the Fujitsu LifeBook T1010, but we did not expect anything extraordinary for this model. It has a simple, sleek aspect that does the job. One particularly good aspect is the completely white keyboard that is pretty easy to use and looks quite solid. The 13.3 inches display does a fairly reasonable job, but we have definitely seen better.
When it comes to performance and processing power, the LifeBook T1010 is extremely poor, at least compared to the latest models we have tested. The Intel Centrino 2 processor along with only 1 GB of RAM makes this model a weak choice if performance is what you are looking for, being clearly outdated.
However we must admit that it also has some qualities that have to be taken in to consideration. First of all, the touch screen is relatively good and the handwriting recognition is at the highest standards. In addition, we noticed that it offers one of the best battery lives we have seen in touch screen laptops. Last but not least, the price is very good, a normal thing after all for an old model.
