Fujitsu Lifebook N7010

The Fujitsu Lifebook N7010 laptop comes equipped with a secondary screen that was designed as a functional work area. This laptop's first screen is a crisp 16", 16:9 aspect ratio screen while the other is a 4" touchscreen that makes the N7010 stand up from the crowd of 16 inch models. The second display is rendering graphics at 960x544.


This is a very portable machine, measuring 386x 277x 48mm and weighing 3.3kg. It comes equipped with a very small, spill resistant keyboard and a lightly textured touchpad.


This unit is powered by a Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 "Penryn" processor clocked at 2.26 GHz and a stout 4GB of memory. Visual performance is provided by ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470 dedicated graphics.Storage is handled by a 5,400-rpm, 320GB hard drive.


You also get numerous ports including: FireWire, eSATA, VGA and HDMI, Ethernet, ExpressCard/34/54, four USB and a Blu-ray drive. In terms of battery life, the N7010 can last only about 2 hours and a half on a single charge. Pros include: excellent performance, useful second screen, solid audio performance, bright display. Shortcomings include: noisy fan, small keyboard.


Priced at roughly $ 1,500, the Fujitsu Lifebook N7010 is a fun, efficient laptop. Definitely worth a look!
